New Stuff!

We just received a very large shipment of
Mountain colors Twizzle.
Notice the white thread going through the hank? What you seeing is the silk content of Twizzle next to 85% merino. During the dying process the colors don't saturate as deeply as they do with the other fiber. Pretty cool, eh?
Anyhoo, we received 12 colors to DIE for.

The Yorkie Yarns Chill Retreat
is beefin' up!

We've got one more class/seminar added on Sunday.
Valerie Robinson will be discussing the technique of adding darts to you projects.
Because there are those of us who have a little extra junk in trunk. Or maybe we have a little too much meat and no potatoes. Either way, sometimes our garments may need a little...ahem....adjustments for our specific needs.
Val will show us how to "make it" our very own to fit our very own.

I'll be sending out a supply list for all our classes/seminars.
Be looking out!
All of the programs are FREE for retreaters!

Oct. 1-3
Gwinwood Conference Center in Lacey
$135.00 will get you a nice bed, 4 meals and a very good time.

Day tripper price is $55. One meal is included.

Call or come in for more information.
253-589-YARN (9276)
Last day for refunds is September 1st.
The final day for reservations is Sept. 30th.

And by the way. I'll be making a BIG announcement on Saturday at the retreat. Don't eeeeeeven try and get it out of me before then because if I tell you...well...you know the rest. :-)

Yorkshire Yarns is beginning to get a bit busy as fall approaches. Yes. That's a good thing. :-)
As we see our visitors increase for a little hands on help, we'll need to go back to regularly scheduled help clinics.
Beginning this month we invite anyone/everyone to come in for help on Monday's from 6-8pm. We'll have plenty of staff on hand to answer all your knitting/crochet questions for FREE.
So if you've got a quick question bring it!

*Private (scheduled) instruction is always available as well for a small fee.

August 21st all day we're doing cake, balloons and 25% off all regular priced yarn for folks with birthdays in July.
Yes...yes...yes. Normally, birthday people get 20% off.
But if you show up on the 31st you'll get an extra 5% off!

Side Note: We're having monthly birthday parties as we transition to our permanent birthday card program. To participate we must have your name, address & birthday month and day. No need to give up your birth year. :-) You want in? Just email your information to info@yorkshireyarns.com

YY Birthday Club

Yorkie Yarns continues to celebrate birthdays by giving 20% off one purchase of ANY amount of regular price yarn during your birthday week.
MANY, MANY, MANY have taken advantage of their birthday discount. But WAY too many folks somehow miss the deal.
Needless to say, they were NOT happy.
So I thought I'd step up my game.

From now on you'll receive a personal birthday card wishing you a happy day.
The card will have a reminder about your YY gift with an expiration date.
Dig me?
So! If you haven't done so already, please email your name, address (with zip code) and your birth date WITHOUT the year. :-)
Then expect to see a card in the mail from me during your special month.

Now that's a happy birthday!

Hey! Want some good summertime knitting music?
Take a listen.

Have a beautiful, pleasant and blessed week, my people!
P.S. Thx for the card & gift, Scott & Judy!
