we have a special guest!

We're bringing in a massage therapist to talk about correct knitting/crochet posture

Karen plans to discuss exercises we can use to rid of sore muscles & aches.

And she's bringing her massage chair for those who want a quick demo!

This is sure to be an educational and "relaxing" evening.

**Our apologies but no childcare is provided.

August 17th is the SOTM Club!

Sock of the Month Club meets once a month on the 3rd Monday from 6-8pm.

The cost is $35 each month and includes a pattern, a skein of the finest of sock yarn and 2 hours of instruction.

The only requirement is that students must have already knitted at least one pair of socks before.

SOTM club is designed to encourage sock knit
ers to try new, different and challenging techniques.

This month Shirley is teaching how to make the lovely "Queen of Cups" sock from Knitty.

This month we're featuring hand-dyed "Heritage" sock yarn from Cascade.

The "Wonderful Wallaby" Knit Along (KAL) continues every Thursday from 12-4pm.

This week we'll cheer each other on as we knit the pouch.

Shalimar Zoe sock yarn (100% merino) & Honey Worsted superwash merino

Bryson Nimble Thimbles

...for those of us who like to touch the tips of our needles while knitting. OUCH!

"Knitted Comfort for the Sole"

This creative collection of footwear by Lena Maikon includes a wide variety of socks, slippers, and leg warmers.

Therogonomic Hand Aids

These are excellent gloves for folks with Carpal Tunnel and/or arthritic hands.

The rain is back and I'm lovin' it. It looks like it's back to socks & sandals for a quick minute. :-)

Y'all have a great week. I know I will. :-)
