Hot Hot Hot!!

Your Company

You know what?

I could not figure out why we were so busy yesterday and it was such a beautiful day.
I got to work at about 9:30 and expected a fairly quiet day.
And then I stepped outside at about 2:30.

Now I get it. Y'all were coming in out of the heat "chillin'".
Listen, I don't blame ya.
This heat is killin' me. And yes. It's cool in the shop all day.
So feel free to come sit & knit & chit & chat.
The water cooler is full.

Do you want to step up your crochet?  This Saturday, August 1st at 10:30am take your crochet to the next level with Terri Keller.
Learn to inc/dec, read patterns/charts and finishing.
$30.00- sign up with a friend, each pay $25.00

Remember, the Wonderful Wallaby Knit Along is everything Thursday (on our big comfy couches) from noon - 4pm.
The best part is that our KAL is absolutely **free**.
We're there to knit together, have fun and make it through the rough spots.

There are ends in every Mountain Color yarn and just about every color way.

Figheadh Designs has introduced 4 new patterns that are (as usual) incredible.

The Drosten Hat,  The Declan, Grace Note Mitts & The Annabelle, respectively.
Simply gorgeous. Come check out the samples in the shop!

Thanks to all who attended the Tacoma Rainiers 1st Stich n Pitch! That was a blast.

And I'd like to send a
very special thank you to Kristeen Griffin-Grimes (French Girl Knits) and her husband Phil.
They are truly a class act. Oh! And her patterns and new book are to die for!
I think her hand almost fell off from autographing so many. :-)
We look forward to having Kristeen come to YY to teach her incredible workshops.
And I'm hearing rumors about a French Riviera knitting tour for next year. Hmmmm...

Stay tuned!

That's all from me for now. Stay cool people!

One day only THIS weekend!

This Saturday, July 25th from 12-4 MOUNTAIN COLORS trunk show at YY!

Nancy Brown from Mountain Colors is pulling out all the stops. She's bring all of the new colors, fibers & pattern for the fall season to Yorkshire Yarns. You'll be able to purchase any fabulous fiber you desire and get a jump start on your winter projects and holiday gifts.

The selection includes Bearfoot, 4/8's wool, cashmere, Twizzle, Silk & Ewe and many more.

Have you ever noticed how some folk's projects don't just look homemade but rather they look finished?

Shirley's finishing class is this Saturday, July 25th from 1-3pm.

This popular class covers 3-needle bind-off, picking up stitches for neck & armhole bands and seaming. Be sure to bring project pieces blocked & ready to assemble. Or bring several swatches on needles or stitch holders. Also, you'll need a tapestry needle and scissors.

Cost is $30. If you bring a friend it's $25 for each of you. Recieve 10% off all class supplies at the time of registration.

We've got lots of new stuff coming in daily. Check it out!
