We will all miss Ming

It is with extreme sadness to have to tell you one of my favorite people
passed away. Ming Dildine died Monday. Services will be held this Friday
(tomorrow) at 6pm in Tacoma. Ming had requested everyone wear red in celebration of her life. If you're wanting to attend please give me a
call at (253)589-9276 for more information.

Most of you knew Ming from Monday night Hooks & Needles and our fall/winter
Thursday night knitting group. Of course I meet a lot of people in this
business but some just grab your heart from the beginning. Ming was one of
those people. The immediate impression I got was that Ming was passionate
about knitting and even more so about her family. After meeting her lovely
daughter and doting husband I knew why. They loved and supported Ming's
passion and zest for _anything_ she liked to do.

I can't say enough good things about her. Ming was always encouraging and
positive. She supported YY from the beginning worked personally towards our
success. As a matter of fact, Ming was the 1st person to knit samples for
the shop. There was only one condition from her perspective. If it didn't
felt she'd have nothing to do with it. :-)

I took her felted fish & turtle off the sales floor and place them in my
office. I'll cherish them always as I will the great memories of spending
time with Ming in the store and last year at Stitch & Pitch. I will miss her
and always love me some Ming. :-)

Please keep her family in your prayers.
God bless.
