  • Saturday, May 3rd at 10:30- FREE finishing seminar with Figheadh's Jennifer Hagan. Please RSVP if you plan to attend. We have just a few spots left.

  • Saturday, May 3rd at 10:30- The final Wonderful Wallaby KAL with Pam S. ends this Saturday.

  • Saturday, May 3rd at 2pm- TWO socks on ONE circular needle PART 1. I'm looking forward to this class because I absolutely love knitting socks on magic loop. And as most of you know, I have serious issues with completing the second sock. Imagine that. I can finish both socks at the same time using magic loop! Whoohoo! This is for intermediate knitters and space is limited to 8 students. Part 2 for this class is on Saturday, May 24th at 2. Cost $50 **Receive 10% off class materials at the time of class sign-up.

  • Sunday, May 4th at 1pm- 3pm- Slip-Stitch Knitting Class Level: Advanced Beginner 1, 2-hour session Are you intimidated by Intarsia and Fair Isle or don't want the challenge of carrying more than one yarn at a time - then this is the class for you. Slip Stitch knitting is the simplest form of working in color yet it gives the allusion of complexity. This technique also uses less yarn and is easier to knit than fair isle and is just as sturdy yet easier than the linen stitch. We learn to slip stitch both in the round and in the flat as well as practice several slip stitch graphs. It's an addicting technique and a great way to use up stash yarn as well. The perfect summer take along project! Supplies: Slip Stich purse pattern (LEDA-15) needles according to pattern yarn according to pattern. Cost: $25. Receive 10% off class materials at the time of class sign-up.

That's all for now. I'm off to plan festivities for our One Year! :-)
God bless you!

There's a better knitter than Pam wandering the streets of Lakewood.

Jodi is the energizer bunny disguised as a master knitter & mother of three.

Sonya Kaye loves chocolate & nuts and goes on many vacations.

Marillyn has a cot in the back.

The Truth:
The upcoming South Sound Yarn Crawl is spreading like gangbusters!

Come get your passport & plan your crawl. Don't forget, if you visit all 10 shops your names is automatically entered to win a $500 shopping spree!

Looking ahead.

There's another KAL scheduled for mid to late June with Pam.

This time the knit along will be w/Ruth Sorenson's Kauni Rainbow Cardigan.

Intermediate knitter's should have some color work experience and stick-to-it-ness. :-)

This is one of the most intriguing projects and yarns I've ever seen as the yarn does the color changes so you don't have to. NICE. This sweater is made from ONE colorway from Kauni.

I plan to place an order for more Kauni soon. To get precisely the color way you'd prefer let me know sooner than later and I'll hook you up.

Stay tuned for more details as we get closer to the KAL.

That's all for now & I'll see you soon.
