"..People will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people
will NEVER forget how you made them feel" Maya Angelou

My mom attaches that quote to every one of her emails. I love it because it's true. Yorkie Yarns is committed to serious service. Our atmosphere is clean, spacious, classy, inviting & homey. Jody, Judy, Liz, Stayce, Stormy & Sonya are committed to creating a welcoming & learning environment for everyone who walks through our doors.

Thank you for your encouragement & kinds words by letting us know we're meeting our goals.

Speaking of my mom, the honorable Dr. Ellen Murphy, PhD will be in town on April 14th for 15 days. You wanna see where I get my spark? Drop in and meet her while she's here. My mom is the BOMB. Okay.

On to business.
Classes this Saturday include:

1. Our Wonderful Wallaby Knit Along (KAL) begins at 10:30 am. This is going to be a great group of folks having fun while they knit together. The KAL is structured to help you achieve your goal to knit a Wallaby with NO TEARS. Our talented instructor, Pam will be there to make sure you get through all the bumps. The Wallaby can be made in kids to adult sizes. That's just one of the reasons why this pattern is so cool. Each session is $20 and you may attend as many or as few as you wish.

2. 2 sox - 2 circulars is at 1pm and offered only once in March. Jodi has had great success teaching this class as she has mastered the technique to help you finish two socks at the same time. NO MORE SECOND SOCK SYNDROME. Space is limited to 8 students. This is a 2-session class. March 5th is the second meeting. Cost is $50. Get 'er done, people!

Malabrigo Kettle dyed worsted weight is in!
Malabrigo worsted in 100% merino and great making for hats, sweaters, scarves, felting, etc. And yes. The colors are this vibrant. You'll see them the moment you walk into the front door of Yorkshire Yarns. BAM! Simply beautiful.

Yorkshire Yarns will be CLOSED on Easter.
I need to chill with my family. And I'll be sure to pick-up a project on Saturday for knitting on Sunday. Hmmm....maybe the Monkey Sock.
What will you be working on?

Have a wonderfully blessed Easter!
